Louwane Courtney is The Courtney Firm’s expert in contract and licensing negotiation, litigation, litigation support and business counseling. With over 20 years of experience in general litigation in Dallas, Texas, Louwane has honed her ability to understand the business impact of intellectual property legal issues and to clearly communicate them to her clients and colleagues.
Louwane works closely with the Patent Attorneys in our Dallas office to insure that they are supporting both the immediate and long term strategic needs of The Courtney Firm’s clients. She is responsible for overseeing patent contract and intellectual property licensing preparation and working with clients to resolve contract and licensing disputes.
Based in Dallas, Texas, Louwane graduated cum laude with a B.A. in History and English from the University of Saint Mary. Her J. D. is from the University of Mississippi, she is a member of the Texas bar and admitted to practice before all State and Federal courts in Texas.
